Rules

By joining Platypus SMP, you agree to follow all of the rules below. Violations may result in a warning, kick, or ban depending on severity.

Community Guidelines​

  1. Respect Others - Be respectful of everyone's beliefs, identities, and opinions. Avoid offensive comments or behavior.
  2. Keep it Civil - Maintain a friendly environment. No spamming, excessive caps, or disruptive behavior.
  3. No Advertising - Do not advertise other servers or share external links without staff approval.
  4. Stay on Topic - Use the correct channels for their intended purposes (e.g., no commands in General chat).
  5. No NSFW or Gore - Explicit, violent, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.
  6. Avoid Annoyances - Don't spam pings or intentionally annoy others.
  7. Zero Tolerance for Bullying - Harassment or targeted behavior towards others will not be tolerated.
  8. No Threats or Exploits - Threatening the server or exploiting loopholes in the rules is forbidden.
  9. Protect Privacy - Don't share personal information (doxxing) or impersonate others.
  10. Follow Staff Guidance - Moderators have the final say. If you encounter issues, report them to staff rather than engaging directly.
  11. Future Rules - Rules may be updated as needed. Always follow the spirit of the guidelines.
  12. Off Topic - You cannot advertise your alliance server or talk off-topic in a nation registration forum.
  13. Loopholes - Any use of loopholes against these rules is deemed punishable.

Minecraft Server Guidelines​

  1. Respect Others' Builds and Property - Griefing or stealing from other countries is prohibited, even during war. War-related actions should be limited to fair and agreed-upon terms (e.g., raids or minor damage). Destroying entire cities or maliciously targeting players' progress is strictly forbidden. Violators may face bans.
  2. No Hacked or Modded Clients - The use of hacked, x-ray, or unauthorized modded clients is strictly prohibited. This includes resource packs that give unfair advantages. Offenders will be banned.
  3. No Exploits or Duping - Duplication glitches, game exploits, or any form of cheating to gain an advantage is not allowed and will result in a ban.
  4. Lag Machines and Crystals - Creating lag machines, excessively using entities, or abusing mechanics to disrupt server performance is banned. Permanent bans will be issued to offenders.
  5. Fair Combat Rules - Randomly attacking or killing players outside of declared wars or agreed PvP zones is not allowed. Respect no-PvP areas and players not engaged in combat. Violators will be banned.
  6. No Harassment or Toxicity - Bullying, harassment, or toxic behavior (in chat or in-game) is strictly prohibited. Maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all players.
  7. Protect Player Privacy - Sharing personal information or doxxing other players is forbidden. Offenders will face severe consequences.
  8. No Impersonation - Pretending to be another player, a staff member, or using deceptive usernames is not allowed.
  9. Play Fairly - Avoid finding loopholes in the rules or acting in bad faith. If a situation arises, staff will issue clarifications or add new rules to address exploits.
  10. Follow Staff Instructions - Moderators' decisions are final. If you disagree with a decision, appeal it respectfully instead of arguing.

Nation Registration Guidelines​

  1. Follow the Template - Use the template provided in #🏰・nation-registration to register your nation.
  2. Establish Your Capital - You must establish your capital city within three days of registering your nation. Failure to do so will result in your nation being disbanded, unless you have valid real-life issues.
  3. No Nation-Hopping - Continuously switching between nations is not allowed.
  4. No Transferring Nations - You are prohibited from giving up your nation to another player and then switching to a different nation.
  5. Land Claim Limits - The maximum claimable land size is equivalent to modern-day Florida, adjusted based on the number of players in your nation.
  6. Disputes - No disputing valid claims; it just forces staff to get involved in a useless argument after a claim was already accepted.
