Shop
Platypus SMP uses EconomyShopGUI to power the server shop - a clean, fully customizable GUI where you can buy and sell hundreds of items directly through menus in your Minecraft client. No complicated commands needed.
Opening the Shop
/shop
This opens the main shop GUI. Browse through category tabs and click items to buy or sell.
How to Buy Items
- Run
/shopto open the shop - Browse through category tabs to find what you want
- Left-click an item to purchase it
- Select the quantity and confirm - the cost is deducted from your balance automatically
How to Sell Items
Sell GUI
/sellgui
Opens a dedicated sell interface where you can drag items from your inventory to sell them.
Quick Sell Commands

/sellall hand | Sell all items of the type you're currently holding |
Tip: Use
/sellallafter a mining or farming run to instantly cash out your entire inventory.
Shop Categories
The shop is organized into sections such as:

| Redstone | Redstone, pistons, hoppers |
The exact categories and prices are visible in-game when you open
/shop.
Checking Prices
Hover over any item in the shop GUI to see:
- Buy price - what it costs you to purchase from the server
- Sell price - what you receive when selling to the server
- Your current balance
Tips
- Use
/sellallafter every mining session - it's the fastest way to convert resources into cash - Check both the shop price and what other players are offering - you may get a better deal player-to-player
- The shop is the most consistent source of income early game
- Some items may only be sellable, not buyable - check the hover tooltip in the GUI
